It was such a privilege to witness Trisha Denise’s Extended Play (EP) album launch last week.

Trish is like a little sister to me, being the daughter of our Victory Group leader, Charmaine, I have seen how she has metamorphosed from a very timid to a confident Trisha she is now.

What sets her songs apart from the others?

They were written with real-life stories behind it – Trish got bullied in school eventually pushed her to commit suicide but God restored and rescued her out of darkness. This inspired her to write Mahalaga and Sunshine among others, which are my personal favorite songs and are on repeat mode in my Spotify at home and when I’m mobile.

Plus, being millennial at heart, I also love ‘Both Sides’ song, her duet feat. Jason Dy, winner of The Voice of the Philippines 2nd season. 👍 I love the beat, the melody and everything in it.
